Retainer Agreements Explained

A retainer gives you dedicated capacity from our team each month without going through a full scoping process for every task.

How It Works

  • You purchase a block of hours each month at a fixed rate
  • Hours can be used for development, strategy, design, or technical support
  • At the start of each month, we'll check in to align on priorities

Rollover Policy

Unused hours do not roll over by default. If you anticipate a light month, let us know in advance and we can discuss options.

What's Covered

Retainer hours can be applied to: - Feature development and enhancements - Bug fixes and maintenance - Platform updates and integrations - Strategy and consulting calls

Retainer hours are not typically used for emergency support (that's handled under your support plan if applicable) or large new projects that would be better scoped separately.

Reporting

You'll receive a monthly hours summary showing how your retainer was used. You can also request a mid-month update at any time.

Adjusting Your Retainer

Need more or fewer hours? Give us 30 days' notice to adjust your retainer up or down.
