BookingItNow lets you create standalone booking request forms that you can share directly with customers or embed on any website. Forms work independently of the Shopify checkout — they're ideal for capturing service requests from your website, social media, or a direct link.
What forms do
A public form collects the customer's name, email, phone, service address, preferred service, and notes. When submitted, BookingItNow creates a Jobber request, job, or assessment on their behalf — the same way it does after a Shopify purchase.
Creating a form
- In BookingItNow, go to Forms
- Click Create form
- Give it an internal name (not shown to customers) and a URL slug
- Choose the form type:
- Request form — general enquiry
- Job booking form — includes preferred date and time fields
- Assessment booking — includes preferred date and time fields
- Add a headline and optional subheadline customers will see
- Select which services appear in the service dropdown
- Click Save
Your form is now live at: https://app.bookingit.now/f/your-store/your-slug
Styling your form to match your brand
Forms are fully customizable so they look like part of your website — not a generic booking widget.
In the form editor, open the Colours, Typography & Shape sections:
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Brand colour | Buttons, focus rings, headline text |
| Page background | Colour behind the form card |
| Card background | The form card itself |
| Text colour | All body text and labels |
| Font family | Choose from popular Google Fonts (Inter, Poppins, Lato, Roboto, etc.) or use the system font |
| Corner style | How rounded the card, inputs, and button are (None / Small / Medium / Large) |
| Button style | Filled (solid), Outline (transparent with border), or Pill (rounded ends) |
The Style preview panel on the right updates as you make changes so you can see the result before saving. Use Preview hosted form to see the full form in a new tab.
Adding your logo
Paste a URL to your logo image in the Logo URL field. Use a transparent PNG for best results. The logo appears above the headline on the form.
Sharing your form
Direct link: Copy the hosted URL and share it anywhere — email, social media, Google Business Profile, your email signature, etc.
Embed on your website: Copy the embed snippet from the form editor and paste it into any webpage.
For WordPress: paste into a Custom HTML block. For Squarespace: use a Code block. For Shopify: paste into a Custom HTML section in the theme editor. For any HTML page: paste the snippet directly into your page's HTML.
Note: The embed snippet loads the form as a widget on your page. The form's colours, fonts, and style settings are applied automatically — it will match your brand configuration.
Theme editor drag-and-drop: BookingItNow includes three native theme blocks you can add directly in the Shopify theme editor — no embed snippet needed. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize, click Add section, then look under Apps for: - BookingItNow – Book Now — a configurable button that opens an inline request form or links to your Calendly/Cal.com page - BookingItNow – Request Form — embeds a full lead-capture form directly on any page using your brand colours and fonts - BookingItNow – Services — displays your active services as a card grid with optional Book CTA buttons
Each block is configured in the theme editor sidebar. For the form blocks, enter your form's slug (found in BookingItNow → Forms). The embed snippet option below still works if you prefer it for non-Shopify sites.
Managing form submissions
View all submissions for a form by opening it in the Forms section. Each submission shows the customer's details, the service they selected, and the outcome (Jobber request ID if successful).
Activating and deactivating forms
Toggle Active on or off in the form editor. Inactive forms return a "Form not found" page — useful if you want to temporarily stop accepting submissions without deleting the form.
Frequently asked questions
Can I have multiple forms? Yes. Create as many forms as you need — for different services, different locations, or different campaigns. Each gets its own URL.
Do forms send a confirmation to the customer? Not currently. The customer sees a success message on the form page. A customer-facing confirmation email for form submissions is on the roadmap.
Can I use forms without Jobber? Forms currently require a Jobber connection since they submit directly to Jobber. Support for Calendly and Cal.com forms is on the roadmap.
